FLEURIE, BEAUJOLAIS CRUVery representative of the Fleurie appellation, the queen of the Beaujolais vintages, this cuvée is imbued with the Poncié terroir. The silky tannins and floral aromas give it a feminine personality, full of finesse and sweetness. It is a wine of thirst, with immediate pleasure that adapts to many dishes.
Appearance Deep color. Carmine purple reflections. Nose Fine and floral, faded pink, peony, violet. On the palate Ample and generous, with intense, lively fruitiness, dominated by blackcurrant, redcurrant and slightly vanilla notes, persistent aftertaste.

Vines 4.5 hectares of a parcel named Poncié of 35 years old very steep and not mechanizable on the heights of Fleurie, pink granite soil rich in mica and quartz, with surface degradation, south-east exposure. Reasoned cultivation, cup pruning, manual harvesting at full maturity.
Wine-making process Traditional Beaujolais semi-carbonic with two pumping over per day, 10 days maceration in concrete vats, no chaptalization, minimum SO2. Maturing: 6 months in old oak tuns.
Ageing advice 3 and 8 years old. Apogee: between 3 and 5 years.
Serving advice Serve chilled at 14°C.
