Champagne Camiat & Fils: Demi-Sec

  • CHAMPAGNE The sweeter dosage of our cuvée brings sweetness and voluptuousness.

Appearance The lemon yellow hue is adorned with pretty, slightly golden reflections. An abundant effervescence nourishes a complete and white bubble cord. The presentation is fresh, rich and dynamic. Nose The first nose is well open. It has aromas of bread, baked apple and cinnamon in a warm atmosphere. When aerated, you can also enjoy melted butter, cooked fruit and brandy. After ten minutes in the flute, the expression is fresher with candied lemon, exotic fruits or marzipan. The "air resistance" is therefore quite interesting. It is a rich, warm and rather complex nose. The expression is mature, but the potential exists. On the palate The attack on the palate is round and well accompanied by the dosage, without heaviness however. The effervescence and acidity are melted and kept in the background. The body of the wine then develops harmoniously, quite warmly and always in the presence of the dosage. The wine is frank and balanced. It seems to be flourishing and gradually its freshness is manifesting itself.

This freshness is reflected on the finish. It contributes, as well as the dosage, to the good aromatic length left by the wine and is coupled with an acidic sensation. The very last impression evokes the roundness.

Pairing Dessert, especially with white fruits (apples, pears, pineapples) / Washed rind fatty cheeses such as Langres or Munster / Sweet and salty cuisine (Indian, Chinese...).
