An organic wine must be made using organic grapes.

This essentially means that the winemaking process must not include: chemicals and genetically modified grapes.

    Thee are 3 levels of conventional agricultural approach:

    • The Bio-dynamic Certificate validates an organic approach both on the wines and during the winemaking process.
    • The Sustainable Viticulture Certificate objective is to reduce to a minimum the pressure of wine-making practices on the environment.
    • High Environmental Value Certificate (HEV)is a voluntary approach which aims to identify  particularly environmentally-friendly practices.
